Systems/Network Administrator/Engineer
Description:
Must demonstrate the experience and ability to direct and oversee operations and maintenance activities for voice and data communications networks. Demonstrate ability to conduct protocol analysis and knowledge of LAN and WAN data communications protocols (TCP/IP, ATM, frame relay, X.400, and X.500). Possesses experience in planning and performing fault management, configuration control, and performance monitoring. Demonstrate experience and ability to conduct activation, back-up, deactivation, and restart of network resources/services. Demonstrates the experience and ability to work without technical oversight and to lead and/or supervise a team of specialists. Possesses superior oral and written communications skills in order to clearly and effectively convey issues, reports, and other deliverables to SSA counterparts. (Websphere on Z/OS).The Validation Specialist is responsible for:
- Leads and/or directs the efforts of specialists on project(s) across components and/or technical areas
- Provides guidance and direction across components and acts in a consulting and/or advisory capacity
- Directs the work of specialists engaged in total Direct Access Storage Device (DASD) operations, management of batch production DASD pools, DASD backup/ error recovery maintenance responsibilities, and batch production program and procedural library updates and maintenance
- Participates in work groups, conferences, and meetings for the purpose of providing advice and guidance, obtaining information as to the needs of the organization, and participating in decisions as to necessary courses of action
- Develops and presents specialized training courses, briefings, and position papers on policies pertaining to complex sophisticated technical matters. Provides technical direction, assistance, and on-the-job training to technical staff as required
- Leads in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC's, servers, network equipment, and software applications
- Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for server backups
- Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs
- Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement.

Education Requirements:

- Experience working with network software and hardware, data or voice
- Experience working with proprietary software and hardware
- Experience with websphere on Z/OS

Program Financial Analyst
Description:
TMI Solutions, Inc. has an opportunity for a PROGRAM FINANCIAL ANALYST to provide financial oversight and control support for IT / Consulting program. Primary focus is to support the project manager by ensuring business management related items are accurate and efficient and that reporting is aligned between project mgt and bus mgt. This includes verifying monthly invoices for correctness, tracking delivery order funding, payments, primary point of contact for all vendor and invoice payables and receivables. Coordinates payment status, responds to data calls and provides administratvie support to the PMs Participates in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.Participates in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analysis such as funding profiles, and variance analysis. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditures projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. Tracks and monitors all costs related to specific contracts, including subcontract funding, and subcontract invoices, accounts payable follow-up, and works with cost accounting to resolve invoicing issues. Will work closely with program management, business management, and contracts administrators to keep everyone apprised of contract status, problems, issues, write-ups, write-downs.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting and assisting Program Managers in the preparation and analysis of project financial and scheduling data.
- Assist with timesheet recording.
- Assists in the preparations of project cost/schedule baselines, weekly preparation of management financial reports, preparation of monthly program review.
- Helps create and maintain the program schedule.
- Interfaces with all functional levels of the program team to develop and status schedule requirements.
- Assists in establishing and controlling program budgets.
- Participates or assists in managing cost and schedule performance through analysis of performance metrics and projections.
- Reports cost and schedule performance to the Program Office and Senior Management.
- Works on the analysis of budgeting and costs on the contract and associated reports and spending plans.
- Maintains contract budgets, prepares contract billing, estimates materials, equipment, production costs and delivery schedules.
